Three Grenada festivals to attend in 2018
Grenada Chocolate Fest (11-19 May, 2018)
You can do many things during the festival activities and one of the most popular festivals is the Grenada Chocolate Fest. You can be a farmer for the day! Go the planting areas, pluck the cocoa pods yourself. Make your own chocolate. There are seminars that teach you a lot of about chocolate. You get to do everything the farmer at the plantation does. For an authentic dark chocolate experience, mark your calendar for this festival today!
This will be the third year for this music festival and it's one of the most awaited ones of the year! It’s a mix of reggae, R&B, Gospel, Soul, and Jazz. The festival includes both local and international artists. This festival was once held in the middle of the ocean under the moonlight! So it isn't just the music; the whole experience is second to none. If you love music, you have to be there.
You get the pure Grenada culture with this festival. There’s pure Grenada music, competitions for the best singer and the best costume for the parade on the streets. It's a beautiful time to experience Grenada. The local panorama features a Mardi Gras and competitions, such as the Queen pageant. People dress up in beautiful costumes, competing for prizes. It is a visual and audio experience you will never forget. As a bonus, you can take boat trips out around the islands to see dolphins cavorting.
